Hello and welcome to this episode of Ritter's Rant. Today we're going to be talking about not just free speech, but literally how the assault on free speech can identify nations as enemies of the United States. And what I'm talking about here is the United Kingdom. Now, people say, gosh, Scott, how could the United Kingdom be an enemy of the United States? Don't we, after all, have a special relationship with the British to date back to the Second World War and the sharing of intelligence information? Yes, that's all true. you have such a special relationship but special relationships are supposed to be derived from commonality of ideals values and today the united kingdom has nothing in with the united states at all when it comes to the fundamental values and ideals of america what am i talking about free speech why am i bringing it up because dan kovalik very good friend of mine was detained by the british at liverpool airport john lennon airport um under Schedule 7 of the 2000 anti-terrorism legislation.

Dan Kovalik, a terrorist. This man is an international lawyer. This man is a human rights lawyer. This man is a constitutional scholar. This man knows the law inside and out and does not violate the law, domestic or international. He does, however, defend human rights. For instance, he calls out genocide when he sees it in Gaza, and he'll call out the bad policies of the United States and Great Britain when it comes to, for instance, war on Iran or other illegal acts of aggression, because this is what lawyers do. This is what people who believe in the rule of law do. This is what Dan Kowalik does, and the British find this a threat. So they detained and they seized his electronics, and then they subjected him forcefully to provide biometric data, fingerprinting and DNA samplings. This was an assault on an American citizen. There's no other way to put it. An assault on an American citizen.

Had, let's say, Russia done this to an American, the United States would be screaming from the top of its lungs, let him go, free him, how dare you? But the British did it, so there's deafening silence. This has to stop. The United Kingdom is no longer a nation that shares values with the United States. The United Kingdom has gone down the dark path towards hell when it comes to human rights, civil liberties, and just basic human dignity. It's a nation that has made posting something on the internet a crime. a crime that can put you up in jail. They put people in jail for longer sentences for reposting something on X than they do for raping a girl or murdering an individual. I mean, especially if you're an illegal immigrant to the United Kingdom, you basically get to walk scoffery. But if you're a longtime British citizen, um and you repost something or god forbid you have an original thought and post it yourself on social media they will come to your house detain you put you on trial and put you in jail this is the sort of thing that the united states used to stand up against we used to say no this this this will not stand it's an affront to everything we stand for yes the united kingdom is an affront to everything we knew that all along i mean hell they're ruled by a king a king We kicked those king-worshipping assholes out of our country over 250 years ago.

And now here we are letting them detain an American citizen, a law-abiding American citizen who's guilty of what? Free speech? You know, I've heard Marco Rubio, the Secretary of State. I've heard Pete Hegseth, the Secretary of War. I've heard the President of the United States. I've heard JD Vance, the Vice President, speak out in defense of American values. of these values and acts in opposition to these values. And we've waved an accusatory finger at Europe all along. Well, it's time to wave an accusatory finger. Hell no, point it right in their face. The British have gone too far. of the United States of America. And it's time we treat them as enemies. I'm saying right now, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, you have the authority, revoke all visas to anybody in the British Parliament who voted in favor of the 2000 terrorism legislation and Schedule 7 weaponization. Revoke the visa privileges of all British who have prosecuted Americans or anybody under this.

If you're a British cop and you've enforced these laws, you've committed a crime. in the American eyes and you should not be allowed to travel to the United States. You should be subjected to sanctions. We should sanction all British police agencies. We should stop all cooperation with them. We should stop cooperation with the British government, period. We should freeze all activities, military or economic or civil. The British are the enemies of America. They're bad people. They're ruled by a horrific government. They're a king, goddammit. Let's stop pretending there's something special. The king isn't something special. The king is a spoiled brat who was raised with a silver spoon in his mouth who doesn't know anything about anything. And yet he governs a nation that's now gone so far off course, it's not recognizable as the former friend of the United States. I have many British friends.

I have served with British military officers. I have served with servants of the crown. And they have served honorably in the past, but today there is no honor in serving the crown. The crown sits atop of this you know monument to anti-freedom they are as anti-freedom as you could possibly imagine so there it is that's my rant I've declared war on Great Britain and I hope the United States does so as well not shooting war yet but I tell you what you keep arresting American citizens who have committed no crime other than carrying out their constitutionally protected right of free speech and England you know home of the Magna Carta home of freedoms If you can't respect American free speech, then you don't deserve to be America's friend.
