Like you're out of jail until they sentence you. But once you've been sentenced, if you file your appeal from jail or from the detention center, that's where you stay until they see it. Well, they might not look at it for five or six months. So he's going to be stuck in the detention center. And let me tell you, that's worse than the labor camp. Let me show you the conditions of a Korean detention center. Just imagine this. Five or six men. Well, Johnny's like half a man. Packed in a room. You don't get a bed. You sleep on the floor or you get this little futon about, you know, this thin. That's what you're on. If you get thrown in solitary, it looks like this. They will put a foam like helmet, 360 helmet around your face so you can't bang your head into the wall.

And you will and they'll tie you up, too, so you can't. I mean, they don't. They'll take the ropes off, but they will do this. It sucks. Now, I tell you, though, in the detention center, most of the people there five, six days and often they go to jail. But because dumbass didn't appeal. Five months in a detention center, sharing a room, sharing a toilet with at least five other guys. Can't talk to him. He doesn't speak Korean, so he can't join the activities or anything. And here's the kicker. You do get 30 minutes outside daylight time every other Saturday. Let me repeat that. Every other Saturday, you get to go outside and exercise for like 30 minutes, like walk around a track or whatever. for two weeks basically minus the half hour for two weeks you're sitting in a room with five guys and you share a toilet and you don't have a bed and you can't speak to anybody the other foreigners that will be in there with them are probably chinese vietnamese whatever maybe a nigerian maybe and he's going to be the because the lowest rung on the ladder is the one that cleans the toilet so that's exactly what he's going to be doing he's going to wish he was in prison Because at least you get to do factory work and you can speak to cellmates and things.

They won't put up with that. So that is his future for the next five or six months. And then he's got another six months hard labor in the prison, plus the initial 20 days of detention. And then the prosecution didn't appeal. So that's just going to add even more time. The process is the punishment, they keep saying. He could be in there for years, and they're likely to win their case. And he could get sentenced to two or three years since everything he did was aggravated. So he might be in total four years in prison, plus about a year in that detention center. He's going to lose his mind, what's left of it. Let me tell you about the food situation. You get rice and soup in a bucket. in a bucket it's just slop and the rice is not it's like rice you couldn't sell it's lower than airplane food it is um it's prison rice except on holidays apparently um well it wouldn't be Christmas time but there's there's other holidays around December you get like edible rice on certain Korean holidays that's it So I guess in their golden week in October, he'll get rice, like actual rice.

Japanese gold week's coming up soon in May. But man, can you imagine sitting in a room, a tiny little room with five other men who you can't even talk to? And that's it, man. Once they're done with his appeals and stuff, he can't speak to anybody. He's just stuck in a room. The biggest joy is eating nasty rice soup in a bucket. That's it. Yeah, his activity is scrubbing the toilet. And he can't take it back. He can't say, oh, no, I don't want to appeal. Can't do that. So he's stuck, which is exactly what he deserves. Personally, I wanted the death penalty, but I'm thinking this might be better just because of all the suffering. I have a cartoon of kind of what some of the cells look like. So I can show you that. I hate this guy so much. There's film. I didn't put it up because he's an attention whore. But he chased me out of the courtroom day. He's like, Ryan, Ryan, hey, buddy, why are you running from me?

I said, I ain't your buddy. You're going to jail. I hate, I just, I can't stand him. But he was at him. He's like, I'm not going to spend a day in jail. He really believed that. His lawyer told him that too. He's like, oh, you're American. They won't do anything. This is different, but this was me outside the courthouse with a shirt of Johnny Somali behind bars with a cabbage because everybody says he's going to be picking cabbages. I hope he's picking cotton. and on the like upper left i know it's backwards and then on the upper right it's also backwards but essentially he's calling him a nuisance streamer and it's like just jail them all on the bottom we sold those in black and white um another thing about the jail is they play this like morning stretch song every morning it's this happy yet creepy little song very I don't know, Clockwork Orange-ish or something, but every day, same song, 6 a.m.

And a lot of Korean prisoners, when they get out of the detention center, they don't ever want to hear that song again. It'll trigger them. He's going to be sitting in that detention center for months. Months. That's why you don't do appeals. Like, they've already decided you're guilty. If you've only got six months, don't do an appeal. It's faster to just do the six months. If you got 20 years, go ahead, do an appeal. What's another five months? But yeah, he could be in there for years. I thought you'd all enjoy that. It was clearly fake, which does less reputational damage than the one hip. Like everybody hated this chick that they thought you're his boy. Why would you date that miscreant?
