Why did I leave the US

You're American that you are, aren't you? I am, I'm from North Carolina. What made you move to South Korea? I moved to Japan first and that's because George Bush the Lesser got re-elected even after the Iraq war. So I was like, you say love or leave it, I'm leaving it. Yeah, they'd probably come for you in the States, wouldn't they, especially all the work you're doing, I think, you know what happened to all these others? Yeah, I would have died in a car accident or something. They were, you know, if I can't use the banks and I can't use social media and I can't use online platforms, they are definitely, I think, I had to live somewhere else to survive anyway. I chose Japan for a lot of reasons, I actually really love that place, but as soon as I finished college I'm like, I'm out of here. I always wanted to leave, I was just like, it's unconscionable, the stuff we did in the first Iraq war in Waco, September 11th, I don't want to pay for that. I don't like the culture, where I was, when hee-haw Bible thumpers and stuff, and I was like, you guys are just, why argue with donkeys when you just go live with the elves? Yeah, fair enough, that's why I look at it like orcs and elves. If you've been to East Asia, and it doesn't matter, South Korea, Japan, Macau, Hong Kong, some parts of China, Taiwan, and then you go to the US, and it's like, it seems like a third world country, America does, and they're eating themselves to death. The infrastructure's falling apart, they don't have universal health care, there's rampant drug problems everywhere, corruption, even with the police. The police, like, school shootings, just shootings at all.
