Time to Turn Off the Westminster Show!

Источник: https://nickgriffin544956.substack.com/p/time-to-turn-off-the-westminster

The mystery over the murder of Ann Widdecombe is likely to drag on until her alleged killer is brought to trial, and even then we may well be lied to. If the second suspect arrested did indeed do it (as opposed to being a patsy arrested to cover up a Jihadist killing which would probably send the country up in flames) my guess is that he will turn out to be linked to the trans movement.

That, of course, would mean that the police are lying when they say that the killing is not terror-related, since terrorism is standard operating procedure for the adherents of this Antifa-linked perversion.

Meanwhile, we await with bated breath the wave of police raids on the hundreds of leftist bigots who took to social media to celebrate Ann Widdecombe’s death. Because, as we all know, the concept of two-tier policing is an ‘unfounded far-right conspiracy theory’, so there is no way our completely impartial police will let them get away with posts similar to those for which so many on the right have had their doors kicked in and received long prison sentences.

There are two questions floating around on Britain’s ‘far-right’ social media accounts as a result of the murder:

First, whether public sympathy over the brutal killing of the unusually (for a Tory politician) decent and genuinely popular Widdecombe, will provide any political comfort to Nigel Farage in his self-inflicted disaster in Clacton?

The second question of how far Farage’s humiliation at the hands of Count Binface will benefit Rupert Lowe? Restore supporters are confident that Reform’s support is going to be drastically cut by the unedifying spectacle of the party leader either debating policies with a dustbin, or refusing to debate policies with a dustbin.

They point out gleefully that for Farage to beat a dustbin in a by-election, only to face another one a couple of months later once a Labour-run Parliamentary Committee finds him guilty of accepting improper donations, is not much better than Farge being beaten by the dustbin.

As it happens, they’re right about that, although it is far less clear that they are right that a collapse in Reform support would benefit Restore. The far more likely beneficiaries are the Tories. Kemi Badenoch, being both black and a committed Zionist and multiculturalist, will never by subjected to a fraction of the media hostility which would crash over Rupert Lowe if he ever became any sort of national electoral threat while his party is stuffed to the gunnels with ‘antisemites’ and ‘racists’. His posting support for Jude Bellingham won’t ever change that.

Those are the two question taking up so much time among far-right podcasters, talking heads and writers. Two questions, both as daft and as useless as each other. Because they are both part of the script of the latest edition of the longest-running soap opera in the history of British light entertainment and public manipulation drama.

Everyone who thinks about it for a moment will understand that, just as The Archers was created in 1950 to ‘educate’ farmers, so too soaps such as Eastenders (created in 1985) exist not simply to entertain, but also to foist upon the wider British public various liberal ‘values’ such as multiculturalism, LGBTQ+ and feminism.

It may take a bit more effort to understand that the Westminster soap opera operates for much the same reasons. In place of entertainment, its most obvious purposes are flattery – to give the masses the illusion that their choices matter – and camouflage, to provide a fig leaf of democratic legitimacy to what would otherwise be the indecency of naked plutocracy.

While the radio and TV soaps are there to help control the masses through promotion of ‘tolerance’, the parliamentary soap aids containment by providing a series of safety valves and false hopes.

Above all, it helps to keep those who object to what the political class have done to us and our country in the position of passive observers. The fate of the country rests – and must be allowed to rest – with politicians. Thus, saving the country is always someone else’s responsibility, not ours.

Your job, little peasant, is to watch. If you really feel strongly about something, you can sign a petition urging them to do something about it, but don’t even think of taking the future into your own hands.

Thus far, almost every reader from across the broad spectrum of the British ‘right’ will have nodded along. Even fans of Nigel and Rupert will generally agree that all the above is true of the Commons as dominated at present by MPs from what Mosley termed ‘the Old Gang’. They will, however, be quite sure that it will all be different when their man walks through the door of Number 10.

In this innocent belief, however, they are sorely mistaken. First, because their man actually stands very little chance of walking through that door, because the ‘old gang’ and the vested interests who own them have a full hand of aces and jokers with which to stop them.

Second, because any truly anti-Establishment party which did manage to overcome those obstacles would be declared ‘a threat to democracy’ and either be banned before the election or disbanded after the result was declared null and void on account of ‘Russian interference’.

Third, because even if none of those things happened, the only way that ‘remigration’ could happen on a scale large enough to ‘save the country’ could possibly happen is by fighting a civil war which, even if it could be won, would come at the cost of a country in ruins and the majority of its survival young people emigrating.

Finally, because the demographic winter and the related intractable problems of debt-created fiat currency and capitalism with a shrinking population are incapable of solution by any human intervention. The horse of possible demographic recovery bolted from the stable sometime between 2000 and 2015.

It was perhaps inevitable in any case. The industrial, consumerist ‘civilisation’ which we think of as the eternal norm is roughly 250 years old. As such, its time is up; we’re bang on time for the usual lifespan of all civilisations. Its subjects, or, rather, some of them, will survive, just as some people survived the Bronze Age Collapse, the Fall of Rome and the death of pre-capitalist Europe. But the Thing we regard as there forever is dying.

Humpty Dumpty has fallen off the wall, and all the King’s Speeches, HM’s Governments and Loyal Oppositions can’t put him back together again. The best we can do is to scrape up enough of the mess to make a large enough omelette to see us through the hard times ahead.

But wouldn’t that take an awful lot of work? Doesn’t it require a revolutionary change in the mindset of our people? Do we really have the time, energy and money to begin to create the grass-roots institutions we need to replace those which will shrink and perish as the old system falters and dies?

The answer to all three of those questions is an emphatic ‘yes’. Provided enough decent people break the Westminster soap opera habit. And, right now is an obvious time to kick it.

The utterly ludicrous spectacle of Nigel Farage vs Count Binface has done us a huge favour. It provides a timely and compelling lesson in just how farcical parliamentary democracy has become in a system dominated by media and money.

Liberal commentators are trying to present this as the special folly of Farage, but the truth is that the whole Westminster Show is a farce. Farage was pushed into his Clacton episode by the pressure of rules and standards applied with shameless bias to him and Reform, by a parliament full of crooks and expenses cheats, blatantly in the pockets of the Zionist and Military-Industrial lobbies.

Farage is the cleverest, most agile and ruthless politician of our age, and his agenda is not even a real challenge to any of the actual Powers That Be. When even he has been reduced to a damaged goods laughing stock, you can be absolutely sure that no one else is going to get anywhere near saving Britain by way of the same parliamentary route.

Yet, while people cling to the idea that someone might, they waste their time. Time that we and our nation do not have. Ironically, the more the Westminster Show descends into actual farce, the more compelling it becomes. The worse the behaviour of its stars and the more ludicrous the story lines, the more good-hearted people are inclined to think that “our man can do better”.

That is precisely what makes the Westminster Show so dangerous, because that is its overriding purpose: To take anger, fear and energy which should fire a burning revolutionary movement, and to focus them on vain hopes for the next election, or the one after that.

By now, supporters of Rupert Lowe may think that I’m talking here mainly about their man, and to them. And I am. But not in a negative way. The problem with Rupert Lowe is not that he has not achieved anything worthwhile, because he already has. He has built, with his own force of character, self-belief and grasp of social media, the most remarkable political movement the ‘right’ in Britain has ever seen.

Restore has a resonance with the British public of which Oswald Mosely could never have dreamed. In a single year, it has grown to ten times the size of the British National Party in its heyday.

The problem is not Restore or its lack of potential; it is Mr. Lowe’s refusal – which mirrors the refusal of Enoch Powell in 1968 – to put his followers to work building an extra-parliamentary movement, a grass-roots force designed to compliment and buttress whatever might be achieved in parliament, or to serve as a bulwark for Britain and the British even in the event of the parliamentary road being (as I believe it to be) blocked.

Where are the manhours and the money which should be building this movement? Being wasted watching the latest episode of the Westminster Show and speculating on the script for those still to come.

Let’s take a quick look at some ballpark figures. With weeks of its official launch in February this year, Restore had 70,000 members. For several months now it has claimed 130,000. Let’s average that out at 100,000 paid up members, people who, one must assume, are generally committed enough not just to pay their money but also, if asked, to do something physical to help.

Let us assume, however, that only half of those people are actually willing or capable of doing anything. Let us further assume, moreover, that, on average, they would give four hours a week of their time to help to build the movement. That would produce 200,000 man hours a week. 800,000 hours a month.

Over the last six months, while those good men and women have not even been asked to do anything other than consider going to Great Yarmouth or Makerfield for a single day of canvassing, that’s a staggering 4.8 million manhours lost to the Cause, because Mr. Lowe has focussed his members’ attentions on his bit part in the Westminster Show.

With the disaster unfolding for Farage giving Restore an added boost, it is safe to assume that Mr. Lowe will, over the next six months, command a potential street activist army of 150,000.

Further, if he were to set out a practical programme of constructive work for his people, and announce a serious fund-raising operation to provide the necessary resources, he would without a doubt add a further 50,000 to that – the people who very sensibly have given up on everything connected with Westminster, but who have not given up on Britain.

200,000 people, even with only half of them giving just five hours a week (way below that given by the average BNP activist back in the day), would add up to two million man hours per month. That’s 24 million man hours over the next year.

So the question for Mr. Lowe, and those who believe that he will dominate future episodes of the Westminster Show, is this: While waiting for that time when you and your people dominate the show’s credits, should you not be taking steps to mobilise your people? We all know that time is running out. Should you not ggive those twenty-four million man hours to the Cause of building a grass-roots movement intended to involve, mobilise, unify, enthuse and protect the indigenous peoples of our islands?

Twenty-four million man hours! I’ll tell you what I’d do with those. I’d use four million of them to work on fundraising. At a very achievable average raised of £10 per hour, that would generate £40 million. Which I would then throw into the application of the remaining twenty million to what should be Restore’s great work: Organising the biggest and most ambitions programme of grass-roots organisation in British political history since the early days of the Labour party.

That’s what I would do. And if I had the base which Mr. Lowe has, it would already be happening. What ‘it’ would be includes the sort of things I explained to Kerry Hopkins on her own show, featured here on Substack the other day. Plus the largest programme of voter registration undertaken in mainland Britain since the introduction of universal suffrage.

Imagine all the fully equipped and trained Community Observation Patrols, a spreading network of Community Strongpoints, regional apprenticeship taster centres, a lawfare training programme, marching bands, local advice centres, an indigenous and avowedly straight pride scouting organisation, systematic legal challenges to all sorts of anti-white and anti-straight discrimination, the establishment of community minicab firms, the creation and equipping of mobile catering units for homeless Brits, and all sorts of other initiatives which would result.

Then imagine the same happening next year, and the year after that, and……

But it’s not what Rupert Lowe will do. He, and those who urge you to support him, are fully paid-up members of the Westminster Actors Union. They will ask nothing more than that everyone watches them on the Show, and votes for them to play a larger role in the next one of the Westminster Show’s periodic popularity contests.

Nothing better will be done because, in the end, the man is a middle class Tory, who has an instinctive revulsion at the idea of working class people and communities doing things for themselves. You may not be ready to believe me yet, but, believe me, the time will come when you will see I was right yet again.

It’s unfortunate, but it’s the way things are. Which is why, in the end, only you can deal with the problems hardwired into the Westminster Show. Stop watching it! Stop talking about it! And get to work, doing for yourself, your family, your community and your people the things which the stars and extras of the Westminster Show will never do.

I’m not a Fenian, and the 12th of July is really not a day for Fenians, but I can’t better the old Fenian slogan: Ourselves Alone!
