“It used to be a lovely area, but with immigrants pouring in, my family and I just don’t feel safe anymore. The place is going to the dogs, but we can’t afford to move to a nice area with good schools. What should I do?” Not a week goes by without me getting at least one desperate message along those lines on Substack, and I’m quite often stopped in the street or in a shop by a total stranger and asked the same question. It’s a very valid one and, fortunately, I do have constructive answers. So here, in brief, they are: Option 1 - Move to Northern Ireland The old working-class loyalist communities in East Belfast, Sandy Row and the Shankill are suffering badly from demographic decline and people moving out of the city. This means that social housing is easy to come by and private housing is cheaper than on much of the mainland. But the Protestant-based loyalist community ethos and cohesion are still there. Join (or get your children to join) the local marching band – they need to grow up as locals. Find a good, traditionalist, Protestant church and attend most Sundays. Finding a job isn’t hard, most smaller employers are patriotic and would far rather employ a fellow Brit than any sort of foreigner. Plus, the loyalist population is significantly older than the Catholics or other incomers, so especially if you have a trade you’ll soon find plenty of call for your talents and hard work.

The Sandy Row in particular already has dozens of English families who have moved there over the last few years, and more continue to arrive. I’ve spoken with a few of them, including several from Birmingham and the Black Country, and concern over the potential for civil war mayhem on the mainland was very much part of their decision to move. Yes, there is a sizeable number of recently arrived immigrants in parts of the city, but they are far from bedded in. Last spring the small Protestant town of Ballymena had hundreds of them. But they behaved badly and, in the course of three nights, the locals took to the streets in their thousands and put them out. Long-term, the band culture, traditions and community resilience you will learn in Northern Ireland are going to have to be imported onto the mainland to help our people thrive and hold their own as the demographic situation gets worse. In Northern Ireland itself, the birth rate of the Republican community is now dropping like a stone. In such a small place, a couple of thousand extra, young, Protestant families from the mainland every year will make a huge difference, helping to keep the ‘Orange’ population vibrant enough to see off all newcomers.

Before any Irish or Catholic readers get all upset and accuse me of sectarianism, let me just say that things are as they are. There’s nothing to stop you doing the same in once-Catholic West Belfast, except that Sinn Fein are now obsessed with LGBTQ, abortion and non-white immigration. You’re probably better off heading south of the border and having children who will help Irish Ireland from vanishing too. Get them to learn Gaelic, try to wrest the GAA back from its woke upper echelons, and become part of the long struggle to keep Ireland Irish. Orange and Green can go back to fighting each other once we’ve secured the future of both sides of the old divide. Option 2 – Move to the North East of England Places like Middlesborough, and a string of smaller ex-mining towns and pit villages, are also being hit by an ageing and shrinking population. Housing is cheap. There’s a gap for incomers willing to work and help keep the schools open with new children.

In some of these places there’s a drugs problem among abandoned, demoralised youngsters, but drugs are ubiquitous in better off areas in the south too. The best way to deal with the problem is for a group of young fathers to band together, form a street patrol team, and encourage the young tear-aways to see the error of their ways. There are similar areas in the old industrial heartlands of South Wales and Scotland too. Trace your roots, find somewhere where community spirit clings on, perhaps even with rugby league and an old colliery band - and help keep it that way. Option 3 - Get a Boat This is an even cheaper option. Do a course in simple diesel engine maintenance and buy an old steel narrowboat on the canal network. Perhaps learn to weld too. Improve the insulation and tidy it up, and away you go. It’s cheap living, particularly suited to a young couple or a singleton (not least because there’s a great community spirit among live-aboard boaters, so you’ll soon make friends and pick up new skills and ways to turn a few quid on the black). There’s a growing number of young, home-schooling families ‘cruising the cut’ as well. Just teach them to swim early!

The cheapest way to do it is to be a continuous cruiser. Your annual licence fee to the Canal and River Trust will be less than council tax on a home on dry land. If you find you don’t like the neighbours, you simply move on. Starlink gives you great internet connectivity wherever you go. You’ll be living in some of the loveliest parts of the country, often with views and wildlife which would cost you a fortune in a house. As for Income….. If you are a young man, get yourself a trade. Not a mountain of student debt and a university degree in some subject which is about to become the preserve of an AI data centre. An honest, hands-on trade, preferably run in such a way as to keep a sizeable proportion of your income in cash or barter. If you are a young woman, get yourself a young man with a trade. Your future profession of mother to five or six young children is the most important vocation and occupation of any in the land. Without exaggeration or exception. Your offspring are the future; having them, and helping to rear them right, will make you a founding mother of the new lineage of our people, as we pass through the population and DNA bottleneck of the Demographic Winter, Homeschool Wherever you choose to live and whatever you do, the crucial thing is to have children – as many as possible. But there’s not much point having them if you then hand them over to Britain’s biggest ever grooming gang – the teachers. You wouldn’t use a paedophile as a baby-sitter, so why leave your children with a lesbian Marxist teacher?

Homeschooling is far easier than you think, and very much more suited to the hard and strange times which we are all now entering. Disconnect from the Idiot Box and shield them from social media and electronic devices too. You wouldn’t give your little ones a rattlesnake to play with, so why give them a mobile phone? Your children will grow up blessed with common sense, practical skills and a knowledge of who they are and just how sacred our land and bloodlines really are. Those who choose to live in these places where it is still possible to afford to house and rear a big family, and sacrifice material plenty for a richness of children may, to some, appear poor and meek.
