we've seen people that have been challenged with this for years here and that's
the good news when I married Michael he used to wake me I wake at night with him
scratching scratching so we married in 1997 he was 40 and I wondered why his
toes just would flare up so badly and and I hear him scratching his feet and he
had quite bad anal itch as well so I decided to put him on a strict diet but I
wanted to know why he said he thought he'd had it for 10 years he thought he
just had to live with it and then he told me the background when he was I think
he was late 20s he had to get his wisdom teeth out because they were crowding
and they were hurting him so he decided to do it on the cheap and let the
students in the dental hospital do it so they knocked him out and they were
winding his jaw open and they broke his jaw and when he woke up his face was
like this he said that he would press his cheeks and the pus would just pour out
and he was just so annoyed that he discharged himself from hospital and went
home to his flat there's a little old lady next door watching him and she said I
can tell you're dying I'm taking you to the doctor so he he was taken to the
doctor two courses of very strong antibiotics and that certainly knocked it back
there's no doubt about it that antibiotics have saved life but the problem today
is the overuse of it what i do and what i do with all my children you nip it in
the bud if there's a sore foot and that's getting pussy you do hot and colds and
the poultice on it then don't go anywhere and in my book sustain me i've got a
whole chapter on water therapies a whole chapter on on the poultices as soon as
you see a problem you deal with it well he didn't know what to do and it just
got worse worse worse worse worse the antibiotic saved his life but here we are
ten ten years later because when he took the antibiotics what did he put in his
body mold how many people take an antibiotic and then get thrush and again it
only really hangs around where it's getting well fed and michael was a bachelor
with two little children before we married and you know what's really easy for a
vegetarian bachelor with two children fruit fruit bread and cereal that's about
what they're living on fruit bread and cereal and what's the fruit bread and
cereal doing just feeding it so i put him on a very strict diet and of course he
didn't care because i'm doing all the cooking and for six weeks i said no fruit
he said he thought his his arm was cut off
